How To Use Keywords – Part 2
Domain Name Title In The Header For Your Site
Your domain name title is your brand and this is where you can establish credibility.
This name will appear in your header as the shown name of your site.
You can give this individuality by adding you own name to distinguish it from other sites.
.
For example :
My shown site in the header is named Internet Marketing Basics. You will find there are other sites on the internet that also use this as their title in the header of their sites.
.
If I wanted to brand my site I would call it something like Rickens Internet Marketing Basics with Ricken being my nickname therefore my brand. This is strictly a choice you make.
.
The domain name title in the header will not show up in general search and that is one very good reason to have your keywords in the domain name URL as they DO show up on the fourth line of the search.
Another good reason is that Google for example bold search text so if it is in the URL domain name it will be bolded thereby standing out.
There is a psychological advantage when the average surfer sees that your domain name URL and domain name site title are the same. It tells them there is relevance to the topic they are searching for and that they might find it on your site.
